So I can't believe it! Unbelievable really. So believing in yourself does make a huge difference! I played out everything I was told to do from beginning to end. I remained open and nabbed everything that came my way. I finally got a job. A job that I can be proud of! Such a gift! Makes everything worth it!
hi, sorry to bother you, my name is itzia and i was looking at a link from a senior show in may. Im a student a community college and want to go into the graphic design area. im pretty green at this and really confuse at what i should do in order for me to choose the right school. since youve gone to OTIS school DO YOU THINK IS WORTH THE MONEY? i have no idea of what school to choose i feel that if i go to a calstate its going to be harder for me to get a job. i dont know if the school will influence my work. ive been researching for art schools but most of them are soo expensive .. . im lost.

Sorry I took so long to respond, but I haven't gone on here too much. Just getting used to keeping up with all these sights now that I am out of school. It is hard to say the difference between a Cal State and a private school. I think they are both good for different reasons. As long as you go to an accredited school- and I mean there are a lot of two year institutions that basically teach programs etc. I would say you can teach yourself that stuff. You need to learn the artworld, history, how history and current events relate to the work you make, etc. That was the most important to me. As far as private or public- I think you can make them both work for different reasons. What matters most to getting a job and to life and art in general is your dedication to your talent and never giving up. Good Luck.
Wow. Thank you, thank you for all the nice comments and responses that I have gotten from everyone! I added just a minimal amount of stuff for people to see from the article that was written in Deviant News and didn't know how positive the vibe would be!
